Lindsay joined The Carithers Pediatric Group in June 2012 after receiving her Doctorate in Nursing Practice and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner dual degree from the University of Florida in May 2012.
Lindsay worked as a Pediatric Intensive Care and Pediatric Oncology/Bone Marrow Transplant Nurse at Wolfson Children’s Hospital for five years prior to joining The Carithers Pediatric Group. She obtained her certification in Lactation Counseling and truly enjoys providing lactation support to newborns and their families. Lindsay is also a full-time faculty member in the Brooks College of Healthcare Sciences at Jacksonville University. She enjoys teaching nursing students as well as caring for the wonderful families here at Carithers Pediatric Group.
Together, Lindsay and her husband, Pete have four daughters, Hailee, Liliana, Abigail, and Annabelle. Lindsay’s husband Pete is a stay at home dad, homeschools the four girls, and is active in teaching in their co-op, as well as teaching homeschool PE classes. Lindsay is originally from St. Petersburg, Florida, and has lived in Jacksonville since 2005.
