Dr. Caroline Williams joined The Carithers Pediatric Group in January 2019. Dr. Williams has been a board-certified Pediatrician since 2011. She is a native of Virginia Beach, VA, and completed her undergraduate work at the University of Virginia receiving degrees in Biology and Economics. She obtained her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School, where she graduated with honors.
Dr. Williams then joined the United States Air Force (USAF) and completed her pediatric residency training in a joint program at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and National Naval Medical Center in Washington, DC. She spent the next five years practicing pediatrics for USAF families. Dr. Williams’ first duty station was Langley Air Force Base (AFB) in VA. She was then transferred to Hickam AFB in Oahu, HI. While there, she served as the Medical Director of Pediatrics and Director of Immunizations. Dr. Williams was honorably discharged from the USAF in April of 2016 having achieved the rank of Major.
She then relocated to Ortega in Jacksonville, FL with her husband, Ivan, and their daughter, Abigail. They were blessed with two more daughters, Audrey, in June of 2017, and Annie in January of 2020. Since arriving in northeast Florida, Dr. Williams has practiced at Naval Hospital Jacksonville as a civilian Pediatrician. The Williams family loves their new community and the girls enjoy attending St. Mark’s Episcopal Day School. She enjoys traveling, cooking, friends and family, and long walks on the weekends with their Schnauzer, Simon. Dr. Williams is very excited to meet you and your children!
