Chanley H. Dudley, M.D., F.A.A.P

Dr. Chanley Dudley joined the practice in July 2013. Dr. Dudley was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, and grew up as a patient in the Carithers Group practice. She attended The Bolles School followed by Harvard College and received her medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine. She completed her internship, residency, and a Chief Resident year at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston prior to returning home to Jacksonville.

Dr. Dudley is a board-certified pediatrician. She enjoys caring for children of all ages but has a special interest in children and adolescents with complex medical or social situations and in those who struggle with speech and language disorders.

Her drive to help children with communication impairment stems from her own son’s journey with apraxia (a motor planning speech disorder), and thus Dr. Dudley is well versed in IEP advocacy as well as the speech, occupational, and/or physical therapy needs of children with developmental disabilities.

She currently serves on the board of JASMYN (the Jacksonville Area Sexual Minority Youth Network), is on the steering committee for the Jacksonville Area Legal Aid’s Medical-Legal Partnership, and is actively raising awareness for Childhood Apraxia of Speech.

Dr. Dudley’s areas of special interest include speech and language disorders, developmental delay, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and LGBTQ health and wellness.

She currently lives in Avondale with her husband Tommy, two sons Charlie and Henry, and her labradoodle puppy, Bella. In her spare time, Dr. Dudley enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and trying to keep up with her boys.
